Core Business Areas

KEMAS storage depots provide structured and reliable storage of physical assets, preventing any risk of unauthorized access or use by unauthorized individuals.

Kemas offers a comprehensive portfolio of security technology services, tailored to implement the best possible protection with you, ensuring optimal use of your company’s physical assets and resources.

Kemas is the only supplier that equips its storage systems with a central emergency unlocking system, providing access to stored items even during power supply outages or data transmission network failures.

KEMAS technologies

This is based on an intelligent storage and management depot system, which includes:

  • Mechanical components for the secure storage of items.
  • Electronic components for system management.
  • Software components for data management.
  • Recognition technologies for precise asset identification, which also form the basis of the authorized access control system for different user groups.

KEMAS operates across a wide range of industries:

  • Penitentiary institutions, police, and armed forces;
  • Heavy industry;
  • Chemical and pharmaceutical industries;
  • Waste management, utilities, and energy sectors;
  • Transport, shipping, and logistics;
  • Financial service providers;
  • Healthcare institutions;
  • Laboratories and research facilities.

KEMAS Storage Depots

Depending on the specifics of the tracked items, such as shape, size, and weight, we can offer various types of systems in terms of structural design and dimensions.

In addition to standard KEMAS drawer modules, which are highly user-friendly, we also offer key dispensing devices for tracking and control, card modules for managing corporate and guest badges, as well as specialized modules for storing emergency action plans.

All of this is united by a standardized modular platform, allowing you to combine different storage depots within a single system. If any requirements change during operation, modifications can be made to the system – both in terms of capacity and placement – like nowhere else.

Modern equipment design proves that security systems can also have an appealing appearance.

The storage compartment and its housing are structurally separated so that the system can be installed as a partition wall, built into a wall, or configured as a standalone unit. We are also happy to accommodate all your preferences regarding corporate identity or the design features of the surrounding space.

KEMAS Software

All system solutions are powered by the KEMAS NET platform, which handles core functions such as the administration and management of databases for personnel, equipment, client structure, etc.

This platform is equipped with numerous input and output interface points, ensuring interactive data exchange with peripheral systems. The concept is based on a scalable web application, managed independently of the platform via a standard web browser.

Identification

KEMAS features a wide spectrum of latest developments for all common systems and technologies. This allows for seamless integration with access control systems, transponders, PIN-code systems, or biometric procedures already implemented in your company. It is also possible to implement a dual-verification principle combining several identification procedures, as well as the partial use of an existing coding system that the object is already equipped with (e.g., vehicle keys).

In order to establish and log exactly which asset is being used and for how long, an accurate electronic identification system is required. The choice and application of the appropriate technology depend on the physical parameters of the assets being tracked, their use in production processes, and economic factors.

Currently, KEMAS is the only manufacturer offering alternative identification systems using optical, gravimetric, and sensor technologies.

Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001, alongside numerous other certificates and approvals, guarantees the highest standards of KEMAS products.

To meet your security and management challenges, Smart Security offers premium products from KEMAS.
