After you changed the data in the database, if this data affected the access of people through a checkpoint, you had to additionally press the “apply mode” button for this information to be written into the controller. This was not very convenient and could also take some time, especially when you needed to update a large number of controllers. Because of this, in the latest versions of the software, it was decided to get rid of this button, and now the data is updated automatically.
In the new versions, data is synchronized automatically. It is enough to update the software and update the controller firmware to switch to the new workflow.
Automatic synchronization will:
- Transmit only new changes to the controller, rather than all data.
- Transmit changes simultaneously to all controllers installed at your facility.
- Guarantee data delivery under any conditions; meaning that if communication with the controller was lost or power was disconnected, as soon as the capability is restored, the changes will be delivered to the controller and vice versa, as the controller continues to operate even when de-energized.
