In addition to a multitude of integrations with various video surveillance systems, the “Sphinx” ACS provides the option to directly connect any IP cameras (with RTSP protocol support).
When connecting IP cameras to you can:
– view live video from the camera on graphical maps or the surveillance interface,
– save a frame or video (a series of frames) into the ACS database upon the occurrence of any system event, for example, an employee passing through an access point.
This function is particularly relevant in cases where:
– implementing a full-scale VSS is unprofitable (for example, a small office),
– the VSS is not tasked with complex analytics.
